Job summary

Georgia-Pacific Corrugated in Sheboygan, WI is hiring an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician for our Maintenance team. The role offers a first shift (6am-2pm) with hourly pay between $42 and $47.

You will troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and install electrical and instrumentation systems, including PLC/DCS/HMI controls, and participate in on-call support. A strong background in industrial electrical maintenance is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical or instrument and control troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs, motor controls, control valves, electrical distribution, servo systems, and AC/DC motors from 24 VDC to 480 VDC.
• Expert level ability reading electrical schematics/blueprints.
• Experience installing, calibrating, monitoring, modifying, programming, and maintaining HMI and DCS instrumentation.
• Experience reading and writing code.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair, perform preventative maintenance, calibration, and installation of plant electrical, electronic, instrumentation and automation equipment.
• Proficiently use software to maintain instrumentation, PLCs, HMIs, and electrical systems.
• Install, calibrate, monitor, program, and maintain PLC, HMI and DCS control instrumentation.
• Read electrical diagrams, schematics, and drawings to diagnose issues.
• Plan and schedule maintenance tasks; on-call status 24-7.
