Job summary

Georgia-Pacific Corrugated in Sheboygan, WI is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join the Maintenance team. The role offers a competitive hourly salary and a 1st shift from 6am to 2pm.

You will troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and install plant electrical, electronic, instrumentation and automation equipment, using specialized software to maintain PLC, HMI and DCS systems. Excellent diagnostic and mentoring skills are required.

Qualifications

Experience troubleshooting PLCs, motor controls, control valves, and electrical distribution.
Reading and following electrical and mechanical schematics/blueprints.
Experience installing, calibrating, monitoring, programming, and maintaining HMI and DCS instrumentation.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair, perform preventative maintenance, calibration, and installation of plant electrical, electronic, instrumentation and automation equipment.
Proficiently use specialized software to maintain all instrumentation, PLCs and electrical systems.
Install, calibrate, monitor, program, and maintain PLC, HMI and DCS control instrumentation.
Read electrical diagrams, schematics and drawings.
Plan and schedule maintenance tasks and manage EI&A projects for new/existing installs.
