Job summary

Buzzi Unicem USA in Tennessee is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair electrical, instrumentation, and control systems at our cement production facilities. The role requires strong safety awareness and the ability to work across multiple shifts.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting motors, VFDs, PLCs, wiring diagrams, and SCADA/HMI interface; you will read manuals, install replacements, and support process control improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Requires completion of an electrical training program or approved institution.
• Candidate must pass a written Electrical and PLC test.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical, instrumentation and control systems at cement production sites.
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot faults.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints and schematics.
• Input work requests in the CMMS and coordinate with supervision.
• Operate and troubleshoot motors, transformers, VFDs, and relays.
• Support process control improvements and standard operating procedures.
