Job summary

Buzzi Unicem USA is seeking a skilled technician to support cement plant operations. You will locate spare parts in the storeroom using the CMMS, and troubleshoot electrical drives, motors, and instrumentation while reading schematics and using PLC tools.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, are eligible to work in the United States, and can pass an Electrical/PLC test. The role requires shift work and offers a starting rate of $40.61 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Familiarity with cement process flow and equipment functions; electrical, mechanical and plant safety rules.
• Requires qualification from Electrical Training Program or similar.
• Must pass written Electrical and PLC test.
• Rate $40.61/hr and up, depending on test scoring.

Responsibilities

• Use storeroom system to locate spare parts and input work orders into CMMS.
• Operate plant equipment and troubleshoot motors, transformers, electrical drives, starters, breakers, and sensors.
• Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation; read blueprints and schematics; use PLCs and measurement tools.
