Job summary

ENGIE North America seeks an Electrical & Instrument Technician II in Golden, CO to maintain and operate complex electrical, control, computer, and plant systems for safe, reliable operations. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of motors, MCCs, relays, breakers, UPS, and rotating equipment.

Qualifications

• A minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in electrical, electronic, and pneumatic instrumentation.
• This role requires attendance at a worksite on a daily basis.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license; will drive company vehicle at plant.
• Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies.
• Ability to use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track equipment readings, test results, and maintenance activities.
• Able to perform emergency troubleshooting, repair, testing, calibration, programming, and maintenance of electrical, controls, pneumatic, electronic, low-/medium-voltage, and process control systems.
• Must maintain plant electrical and control systems to maximize safety, reliability, efficiency, and availability.
• Diagnose electrical issues, implement corrective actions, and coordinate vendor or engineering support as needed.
• Bring experience with PLCs, water and gas analyzers, gas and solid fuel-fired boiler controls, and turbine controls.
