Job summary

ENGIE North America Inc. in Golden, CO seeks an Operations & Maintenance Technician II to support the safe start-up, operation, and continuous monitoring of boilers, gas turbines, and related equipment.

This role requires driving to the site daily and performing a range of preventative and corrective tasks with emphasis on reliability. You will participate in outages, maintain records, and train with senior staff to ensure high safety and performance standards across the Denver/Golden

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience and/or training in a skilled trade such as Maintenance Mechanic, Maintenance Electrician, or Instrument & Control Technician.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the plant and equipment, including carrying out scheduled plant checks, and prepare necessary reports and log entries.
• Assist in planning, organizing, and executing unit outages for inspections, overhauls, repairs, and cleaning.
• Assist with preparation and administration of operations, maintenance, and Health Safety & Environmental procedures and reports.
• Maintain accurate records while monitoring and maintaining plant equipment and systems.
• Participate in ongoing training to maintain and enhance skills required to perform duties and assist in the training of others.
• Train and qualify as an Operator Technician at the ENGIE facilities in the Denver/Golden Colorado area.
• Complete other duties related to safe plant operations, maintenance, and reliability.
