Job summary

ENGIE is seeking an Electrical & Instrument Technician II for our Iowa City power plant. You will maintain electrical, instrumentation, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, supporting safe and reliable plant operations.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and documentation in a CMMS environment, with a focus on emissions monitoring and process controls. On-site daily duties and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training is valued.
• At least 2 years hands-on experience maintaining, troubleshooting, or repairing electrical, instrumentation, pneumatic, mechanical, or industrial systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical, instrumentation, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, diagnose failures, and complete repairs to maintain safe, reliable plant performance.
• Inspect, test, calibrate, tune, repair, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems and process control devices.
