Job summary

Idahoan Foods in Idaho Falls seeks an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead the plant electrical, controls and instrumentation program. The role involves managing direct reports, prioritizing maintenance work, and driving capital projects to improve efficiency and safety.

The ideal candidate will have a engineering degree or Journeyman’s license with 5–10 years of manufacturing experience, plus strong Rockwell and instrumentation skills to support plant operations and continuous improvement

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred or Journeyman’s license with manufacturing experience.
Strong knowledge of instrumentation, controls and PLCs in a manufacturing setting.
Experience with Rockwell tools and industrial communications is preferred.
Ability to read schematics and P&IDs and maintain proper documentation.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, install, and repair electro-mechanical equipment and instrumentation.
Lead preventive maintenance and manage calibration records per directives.
Develop capital projects and support plant-wide safety and reliability initiatives.
Design and maintain control panels per UL508A and electrical standards.
Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and data acquisition systems.
