Job summary

The Simplot Company is seeking a skilled Electrician/Instrumentation technician to ensure efficient operation of process control systems at the Caldwell, Idaho plant. You will maintain instrumentation, troubleshoot issues, calibrate equipment, and support PLC/SCADA programming to minimize downtime.

The role requires 3 years of relevant experience, an Idaho Journeyman Electrician License, and a willingness to work night shifts (6:00pm–6:00am). The site offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant work experience preferred; 1 year of industrial work experience preferred.
• Idaho State Journeyman Electrician License. Must maintain certification throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Installs, operates, and maintains central process control equipment and instrumentation.
• Ensures instrumentation is tuned and calibrated; performs preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Assist PLC/SCADA programming and ensure reliability for projects.
• Assist in developing plans for electrical and automation systems for capital projects.
• Performs mechanical duties as needed and conducts process auditing.
