Job summary

Ag Processing Inc in David City, NE is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor to lead, troubleshoot and optimize plant electrical and instrumentation systems. You will supervise E&I Technicians, manage calibrations, and coordinate electrical upgrades while collaborating with plant management and vendors.

The role requires PLC programming experience, strong knowledge of motor control, instrumentation installation and blueprints interpretation, with emphasis on safety and effective

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical and motor control systems.
• Understand instrumentation installation, repair and calibration procedures.
• Working knowledge of PLC programming and hydraulic/pneumatic control schemes.
• Able to read electrical and mechanical blueprints.
• Skilled in training program design and delivery.
• Experience in project management.
• Highly organized with detailed planning skills.
• Proficient in documenting and communicating clearly.
• Safety-conscious and able to manage stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot HMI, PLC, process control and electrical problems.
• Assist with development of new electrical/process control systems and be involved with project development as well as new system installations.
• Supervise E&I Technicians and oversee daily activities.
• Schedule calibrations and inspections of process control/electrical equipment with written documentation.
• Coordinate projects with outside contractors and plant management staff.
• Establish and develop written training programs for applicable maintenance and operation of PLC, HMI and electrical equipment.
• Install and set hardware and software configurations.
• Work with AGP management in the development of plant projects and instrumentation and electrical upgrades.
• Maintain past, current and future electrical systems prints and control systems configuration documentation.
