Job summary

PPG Industries, Inc. is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor at the Barberton, Ohio plant. You will plan and execute maintenance programs to maximize equipment availability and productivity, lead the maintenance team, and ensure safety and environmental compliance.

You will develop maintenance strategies, coordinate inspections, and drive equipment reliability across complex systems. On-site role with competitive benefits and paid training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience.
• Supervisory and team-development experience preferred.
• Experience planning maintenance schedules for complex systems.
• Experience with ControlLogix and Allen Bradley ladder logic.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate maintenance engineering work with review of mechanical and electrical specs.
• Review proposed equipment designs for reliability and maintainability.
• Coordinate repairs, safety inspections, and supply of new plant with production schedules.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Implement management decisions through the work of staff.
• Enforce policies and procedures set by management.
