PPG is seeking an Electrician and Instrumentation Supervisor to plan, design, and implement maintenance programs for our Barberton, OH facility. You will lead a maintenance team, ensure safety and environmental compliance, and coordinate with production to minimize downtime.

The role reports to the Sr. Project Engineer and offers comprehensive health benefits, 401k matching, and paid vacation/holidays. Training is provided to support career development and maintenance of critical equipment.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience.
• Supervisory and team-development skills highly desired.
• Experience planning and managing maintenance schedules for complex systems.
• Experience with ControlLogix and Allen Bradley ladder logic.

Aufgaben

• Plan and coordinate maintenance engineering work including review of mechanical and electrical engineering specifications.
• Review proposed new equipment designs for reliability, maintainability, and parts availability.
• Liaise with production staff to coordinate repair work, safety inspections, and supply of new plant and equipment.
• Participate in installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Implement management decisions through staff work.
• Carry out policies and procedures passed down by management.
