Job summary

AdvanSix seeks an Electrical/Instrumentation Maintenance Specialist at the Chesterfield Plant to partner with Reliability Engineers and operating teams for safe, profitable operation. You will troubleshoot equipment, calibrate instruments, develop maintenance plans, support upgrades, and help drive long-term reliability improvements while working in a demanding industrial setting.

Qualifications

7+ years in chemical/petrochemical/refinery plant maintenance with electrical/instrumentation expertise.
Working knowledge of PLCs, DCS, and industry standards for electrical/instrumentation equipment.
Hands-on maintenance experience in a unionized environment or similar setting.
Proficient use of drafting and project planning software (AutoCAD, Visio, MS Project, Primavera).
Experience with SAP work management system Meridium or similar; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot equipment performance; analyze failures to determine root causes.
Advise and review repairs and modifications to electrical/instrumentation equipment.
Establish and maintain instrument calibration program and PM database.
Develop and maintain maintenance documentation for critical plant equipment.
Support equipment installations/upgrades ensuring maintainability and reliability.
Assist hourly E/I technicians with analysis and data interpretation.
Develop, maintain, and update maintenance plans and repair shop papers.
Collaborate with vendors and technical consultants for improvements.
Perform physical tasks in an industrial plant environment (climbing ladders, confinement).
