Job summary

AdvanSix is seeking an Instrument Mechanic to install, calibrate and maintain instrumentation and control systems in our Richmond, VA facility. • Associates Degree in Instrumentation or equivalent experience in industrial environments.
• 2 years of instrumentation and controls installation, troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair instrumentation systems and controls.
• Calibrate instruments and perform preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with planners and order non-stock parts as needed.
• Read manuals, schematics and P&IDs; work both independently and in teams.
