Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing seeks an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Quality Control Manager to oversee the E&I quality program across divisions and projects in heavy industrial, oil & gas, energy, and EPC construction. Qualifications

• 5+ years of E&I quality management experience in industrial construction or EPC environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation quality control.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
• Practical knowledge of NFPA 70E and electrical safe work practices.
• Experience managing E&I inspectors, field personnel, subcontractor quality performance, or third-party testing resources.
• Ability to read and interpret IFC drawings, specifications, inspection requirements, test procedures, and project quality documentation.
• Experience with electrical and instrumentation installation, inspection, testing, commissioning, and turnover.
• Strong documentation skills, including inspection records, test packages, NCRs, punch lists, corrective actions, and quality metrics.

Responsibilities

• Manage the E&I QA/QC program for assigned divisions and projects.
• Lead and coordinate E&I quality personnel performing audits, inspections, surveillance, testing, and documentation.
• Interpret contract quality requirements, drawings, specifications, and inspection/testing requirements.
• Support inspection and test plans, quality checklists, turnover packages, NCRs, corrective actions, punch lists, and quality records.
• Coordinate third-party E&I testing agencies and support electrical/instrumentation testing, commissioning, and turnover activities.
• Interface with corporate quality leadership, project management, construction teams, subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives.
• Troubleshoot field quality issues and ensure timely resolution and closeout.
• Track, maintain, and report E&I quality metrics to divisional and corporate leadership.
• Prepare weekly quality reports identifying issues, trends, corrective actions, and improvement opportunities.
• Train project and field personnel on quality program requirements, documentation standards, and inspection expectations
