Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing seeks a Lead E&I Quality professional to oversee the E&I quality program across Permian Basin and other project locations. You will guide quality personnel, coordinate inspections, and ensure documentation through commissioning and turnover.

The role requires 5+ years in E&I quality management in industrial construction or energy sectors, strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation QC, and readiness to travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in E&I quality management in industrial construction/oil and gas/energy
• Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation QC
• Experience with data center or mission-critical environments
• Familiarity with NEC NFPA 70E and electrical safe-work practices
• Experience coordinating third-party testing resources

Responsibilities

• Oversee the E&I QA/QC program for assigned divisions and projects
• Lead and coordinate quality personnel for audits, inspections, testing, and documentation
• Interpret contract quality requirements, drawings, specs, and inspection/test requirements
• Support inspection/test plans, checklists, turnover packages, NC reports, and corrective actions
• Coordinate third-party E&I testing agencies and support testing, commissioning, turnover
• Collaborate with quality leadership, project management, construction teams, subcontractors and client reps
• Troubleshoot field quality issues and drive timely resolution and closeout
• Track and report E&I quality metrics; prepare weekly reports on issues and trends
• Train personnel on quality requirements and documentation standards
