Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Quality Control Manager to oversee the E&I quality program across multiple heavy industrial, oil & gas, and EPC construction projects in the Permian Basin and beyond. The role emphasizes leading quality personnel, managing inspections, and ensuring compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, and project documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of E&I quality management experience in industrial construction.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation QC.
• Working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Experience reading IFC drawings and project quality documentation.
• Experience with inspections, testing, commissioning, and turnover.
• Travel to project sites required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the E&I QA/QC program for assigned divisions and projects.
• Lead E&I quality personnel in audits, inspections, testing, and documentation.
• Interpret contract quality requirements, drawings, specifications, and inspection procedures.
• Support inspection/test plans, quality checklists, turnover packages, NCRs, corrective actions, punch lists, and quality records.
• Coordinate third-party E&I testing agencies and commissioning activities.
• Interface with quality leadership, project management, and client representatives.
• Troubleshoot field quality issues and drive timely resolutions.
• Track, maintain, and report E&I quality metrics to leadership.
• Prepare weekly quality reports with issues and improvement actions.
• Train project/field personnel on quality program requirements and expectations.
