Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation in Canton, Ohio is seeking a Project Engineer II/III focused on Electrical & Instrumentation to support refinery process and operations teams. You will manage small to mid-size capital and expense projects and provide baseline engineering support throughout project life cycles.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Engineering (Electrical preferred) with 2+ years of industry experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required.
• Two (2) years or more of industry experience is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise across capital and expense projects.
• Define scope, cost estimates, schedules, and funding for projects.
• Support operations with electrical/instrumentation troubleshooting and design reviews.
• Coordinate with designers and outside contractors through project life cycles.
• Support Process Safety Management reviews and hazard evaluations.
