Job summary

A leading global inspection company is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Inspector/Engineer for a 12 to 18 months contract based in Mount Pleasant, PA. The role involves planning and conducting Factory Acceptance Tests, along with inspecting various electrical components. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years in electrical inspection, with a strong understanding of E&I codes and standards. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $45–$49, plus mileage reimbursement and contract-related expenses.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of electrical inspection experience.
• Minimum 2-3 years of supplier expediting experience.
• Minimum of 3-4 years shop/vendor surveillance experience.
• Must have FAT experience (Electrical, Type and any other tests).
• Ensures electrical installations meet codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for project equipment.
• Inspect MV/HV Breakers, Voltage Transformers, Surge Arrestors.
• Ensure test procedures and acceptance criteria are in place prior to FAT.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders during FAT activities.
