Job summary

A leading inspection and certification company is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Inspector for a contract position in Mount Pleasant, PA. The role involves coordinating Factory Acceptance Tests, inspecting electrical equipment, and ensuring compliance with project specifications. Ideal candidates should have at least 5 years of electrical inspection experience and a strong understanding of NEC/IEC standards. The contract length is expected to be from 12 to 18 months, with a competitive hourly rate of $45-$49.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of electrical inspection experience.
• Minimum 2–3 years of supplier expediting experience.
• Minimum 3–4 years of shop/vendor surveillance experience.
• Good understanding of E&I processes, codes and standards (NEC/IEC).
• Electrical Engineering background is advantageous.
• FAT experience (Electrical, Type and other tests) required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and coordinate all Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for project equipment.
• Inspect MV/HV breakers, voltage transformers, surge arrestors.
• Ensure all test procedures are in place prior to FAT.
• Monitor and report testing progress and quality metrics.
