Job summary

A leading testing and certification company is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Inspector to conduct inspections and testing of electrical installations. This intermittent contract role requires a minimum of five years of relevant experience in the industry. The position includes responsibilities such as documenting inspections results and ensuring adherence to safety standards. Expenses incurred during work outside of your city of residence will be reimbursed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of relevant experience.
• Experience ensuring installations meet codes, specs, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections and testing systems.
• Document non-conformities (NCRs) and create inspection reports.
• Verify installations meet relevant codes and standards.

Skills

AEI, IAEI, CEI and/or CompEx

NFPA 70 knowledge

5+ years of experience

3-4 years shop/vendor surveillance experience

Understanding of E&I processes, codes and standards

Industrial experience in Oil & gas / Power & Utility / Construction
