Job summary
A global inspection company is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Inspector for contract work in Mount Pleasant, PA. The position involves planning and organizing Factory Acceptance Tests for electrical equipment. Candidates must have at least 5 years of electrical inspection experience and some exposure to supplier expediting. The contract will last 12 to 18 months and start as soon as possible, with a pay rate of $45-$49/hr plus mileage reimbursement.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of electrical inspection experience required.
- 2-3 years of supplier expediting experience required.
- 3-4 years of shop/vendor surveillance experience required.
- Project planning, quality assurance, and quality control experience mandatory.
- Must have inspection experience of MV/HV Breakers and standards compliance.
Responsibilities
- Plan and organize Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
- Inspect MV/HV Breakers and ensure documentation is complete.
- Facilitate communication during testing activities.
- Monitor and report on testing progress and quality metrics.
