Job summary

Bombardier is hiring an Electrical Instrumentation Design Engineer for our Wichita location. The role focuses on basic engineering tasks, wiring design, and data acquisition system support for flight test vehicles.

Entry-level candidates will be considered. The job involves creating wiring diagrams, documenting procedures, and collaborating across teams on test activities to ensure successful flight test campaigns.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering Technology is required or equivalent.
• Entry level candidates will be considered.
• Experience with data acquisition systems is desirable.
• Knowledge of flight test sensors and calibration methods is a plus.
• Ability to design and support wiring for flight test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Executes basic engineering assignments.
• Conducts technical investigations and analyses, develops simple solutions.
• Provides support to prepare, conduct and analyze tests.
• Provides support to prepare technical reports and liaison with other groups.
• Generates technical documentation (TRD-type documents).
• Participates in reviews and provides status for simple projects and tasks.
