Job summary

Didion Milling, Inc. in Cambria, WI is seeking an Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (EIC) Technician to maintain and improve electrical, instrumentation, and control systems supporting manufacturing operations.

You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, calibrate instrumentation, read schematics, and collaborate with operations and engineering to enhance reliability. The schedule is Monday–Friday with shift options 6:00 AM–3:00 PM or 2:00 PM–11:00 PM.

Qualifications

Technical degree or equivalent in Industrial Electrical Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or related field
Understanding of NFPA 70E and electrical safety practices
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and control system issues
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment
Install, maintain, and calibrate instrumentation and controls
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs
Assist with equipment upgrades, modifications, and new installations
Support plant automation and control systems
Work cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and performance
Help identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
