Job summary

Reworld is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair power plant equipment, including boilers and associated electrical and control systems. The role covers field controllers, instrumentation, and motor control centers, working from 120V to 13.8kV.

The position offers a sign-on bonus of $5,000 and requires adherence to safety practices, outage support, calibration tasks, and a strong commitment to reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with motor starters, PLCs and high power.
• Ability to demonstrate how actions support Reworld values and safe workplace.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and testing of low, medium and high voltage equipment including switchgear, breakers, starters and transformers.
• Maintain higher voltage switchyard equipment and steam turbine driven generators.
• Perform electrical maintenance on energy-from-waste boilers and related equipment (pumps, fans, motors, conveyors).
• Troubleshoot and repair CEMS and instrumentation (transmitters, level controls, temperature sensors).
• Troubleshoot DCS and historian devices; perform preventative maintenance, calibration, thermography, and UT testing.
