Job summary

The College of New Caledonia is seeking an instructor to teach in the Electrician Program. The successful candidate will join a team focused on safety-first practices and high-quality instruction for students and CNC communities.

Qualifications include a Journeyperson Electrician credential, a minimum of five years’ experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; PIDP is a plus. This is a full-time, limited-term teaching role at CNC Prince George Campus, BC.

Qualifications

• Must hold Interprovincial Trades Qualification in Construction or Industrial Electrician.
• Five years of experience as Journeyperson Electrician in various settings.
• Preference for candidates with recent teaching/supervisory experience.
• Ability to work effectively with students individually or in groups.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams).
• PIDP completion would be an asset.

Job Summary

The College of New Caledonia is looking for an instructor to teach in the Electrician Program.

Skills & Qualifications

• An Interprovincial Trades Qualification in the Construction Electrician or Industrial Electrician trade.
• Five years of experience working as a Journeyperson Electrician a number of settings.
• Preference will be given to candidates who are current in the trade and who have recent proven teaching and/or supervisory experience.
• The successful candidate should be able to deal effectively with students on an individual or group basis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams) is required.
• Completion of the Provincial Instructor’s Diploma Program ( PIDP ) would be considered an asset.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety practices and will foster a safety-first culture with students and in the CNC community.

You will promote a positive work atmosphere and communicate in a professional manner that demonstrates mutual respect with students and colleagues

Salary $73,879 - $87,659 Commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience
