The College of New Caledonia invites applications for a part-time Medical Laboratory Technology Science Program (MLTS) Instructor to teach in the program, online or in person in Prince George.

The ideal candidate has a MLS Diploma with CSMLS certification, 5+ years of MLS experience, and teaching credentials or relevant project work. Strong organization, teamwork and communication are essential to support student success.

Competenze

• MLS Diploma with CSMLS certification; preferred Bachelor's degree in related field or CSMLS Advanced Registered Technologist Certificate.
• Five years of recent MLS experience.
• Teaching experience in medical laboratory technology education and related admin/project work is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities.

Job Summary

The College of New Caledonia is looking for a part time faculty member to teach in the Medical Laboratory Technology Science Program.

Skills & Qualifications

• Medical Laboratory Technology Diploma, with current membership and certification with CSMLS ; preferred qualifications includes: a Bachelor’s Degree (or degree in progress) in a field related to medical laboratory technology education or Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science ( CSMLS ) Advanced Registered Technologist Certificate (or in progress)
• Five years of recent experience in the profession
• Teaching experience in medical laboratory technology education and diversity of employment experience, including administration and/or project work is preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills and be able to set priorities;
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with an ongoing interest in student success and life-long learning.
• Excellent communication skills are required
