Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Electrical Installer to join our team in Texas. You will lead installation, wiring, startup checks, and training on Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects, delivering quality results on time and within budget.

You will read blueprints, work with various hand and power tools, and supervise junior Installers while maintaining a strong customer focus and safety mindset. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent.
• Minimum Experience: 5-7 years relevant construction including some electrical or low voltage background.
• Preferred Experience: fire alarm, life safety, data-cable installation or building automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installing, programming, system start-up/check-out, certification, and related customer training on Fire, Security, and/or Building Automation projects.
• Delivers assigned projects effectively and within budgeted cost and time schedules with minimal guidance.
• Supervises other Installers.
