Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Electrical Installer to join our team in Wichita, KS. You will install, program, test, repair, and service security, fire alarm and life-safety systems with minimal supervision, while delivering world-class service to customers.

As part of a collaborative group, you will interpret schematics, use test instruments, and work with device wiring, panels and door hardware. A valid driver's license and 3–5 years in electronic security or related construction are

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years in electronic security industry or related construction.
• Experience with electrical or low voltage backgrounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repairs, and service security, fire alarm & life-safety systems.
• Interpret manuals, schematics and wiring diagrams to install and commission equipment.
• Collaborate with customers and colleagues to provide installation support and training.
• Maintain safety, quality, and Convergint Quality Standards on site.
• Possess basic hand tools and work with project leads to complete tasks.
