Job summary

Convergint Technologies is seeking a full-time Electrical Installer to install, program, test, repair, and service security, fire alarm, life safety systems and building automation. You will collaborate with customers and colleagues to provide technical installation support and training, contributing to a dynamic, growth-minded culture.

You will read blueprints, interpret wiring diagrams, and use tools to complete tasks with minimal guidance while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and wiring access control, network cameras, door hardware, panel installation & wiring, and programming of door and camera additions.
• Solid Construction Skills and understanding of system plans.
• Solid understanding of blueprints, design drawings including wiring and labeling methods, system wiring, wiring methods, cut sheets, wiring schematics, and cable support installation.
• Strong customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to meet customer needs without prompting.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repairs, and service a variety of systems and equipment including security, fire alarm & life safety and building automation.
• Work closely with customers and internal colleagues to provide technical installation support and training.
• Interpret manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams; use test instruments and hand tools.
• Take ownership of onsite projects with focus on safety, quality and performance.
• Provide feedback to Project Lead and serve as liaison to ensure timely task completion.
