DWS Energy is seeking an Installer Apprentice II to advance electrical controls installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for building management systems on commercial and utility-scale projects. This role emphasizes hands-on learning, safety compliance, and collaboration with project teams.

The position involves conducting wiring and conduit work, diagnosing issues, and mentoring junior apprentices, with a strong focus on developing technical skills in a growing electrical construction

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in electrical systems and building management installations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in various environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations of building management systems with minimal supervision, including wiring, controls, and related components.
• Execute complex installations of electrical conduit and cables, ensuring precision and safety compliance.
• Diagnose and repair system issues, providing timely solutions.
• Mentor Level I apprentices and share knowledge and best practices.
• Collaborate with team members and project managers to ensure timely project completion.
