Overall Objective
  • Level‑1: Requires consistent supervision while assisting with the install of electrical conduit, electrical conductors, junction boxes, and Building Automation controller bases.
  • Level‑2: Requires minimal supervision while installing electrical conduit, electrical conductors, junction boxes, and Building Automation controller bases.
  • Level‑3: Requires no supervision while installing electrical conduit, electrical conductors, junction boxes, and Building Automation controller bases. Must be able to wire and troubleshoot basic control/relay logic circuits with minimal oversight and assistance.
  • Level‑4: Requires no supervision while installing electrical conduit, electrical conductors, junction boxes, and Building Automation controller bases. Must be able to wire and troubleshoot basic control/relay logic circuits without any oversight or assistance. The team member must also have a complete understanding of the standard processes, procedures, and products that the company invests in.
Essential Functions
  • Proactively work in a safe manner in the context of performing the functions of your position.
  • Ensure that customer satisfaction is always 100%.
  • Interact with customers and contractors as required.
  • Coordinate with project managers and foreman to meet the needs of all projects.
  • Provide assistance to others as needed.
  • Read blueprints and other construction documents.
  • Provide status reports of work related to any project involvement.
  • Strong troubleshooting (Level‑3 through Level‑4).
Non‑Essential Functions
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions
  • The position will require travel to job sites as dispatched and work outside of the office.
  • Use company‑provided communication equipment frequently.
  • Hours of work are consistent with normal working hours, with some flexible scheduling required as requested by the customer.
Minimum Qualifications and /or Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must possess documented experience/training on various systems and controls.
  • Experience with electrical and/or HVAC equipment repair/maintenance is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills are necessary for Level 3‑4 and would be preferred, but not a necessity for Level 1‑2.
  • Must be able to work without constant supervision, make reliable decisions, have good judgment, and have knowledge of safety procedures.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and projects and prioritize based on departmental functions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Good interpersonal skills required with strong communication and organization skills.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
