Job summary
Amazon is seeking an Electrical Installation Lead – Low Voltage Devices & Controls to drive installation, configuration, and validation of field devices and low-voltage control systems for automation and material handling equipment across NA facilities. You will manage installation crews, coordinate with controls commissioning, and ensure wiring, labeling, and verification meet standards.
This role reports to the Site Deployment Manager and travels up to 50% domestically to support multiple
Qualifications
- 5+ years in industrial electrical installation or related field.
- Experience leading electrical installation crews.
- Experience with low-voltage control: 24VDC, sensors, VFDs.
- Ability to travel up to 50% domestically.
- Experience reading device layout drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Comfort in fast-paced automation environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical installation crews for low-voltage devices in MHE systems.
- Oversee device installation, wiring, and commissioning readiness.
- Manage VFD installation, I/O wiring, and fieldbus cabling.
- Coordinate with power distribution, controls, IT, and vendors.
- Ensure QC, I/O verification, labeling, and punch list completion.
- Develop standards and documentation for installation processes.
- Support energization readiness and zone closeout.
