Job summary

E-Logic, Inc. seeks an Electrical Inspector in Lynnwood to support the City's Development Services. You will perform electrical plan reviews and field inspections for residential, commercial, and public projects, ensuring compliance with NEC and Washington electrical codes.

This on-site role requires daily interaction with developers, contractors, engineers, and the public, under a government on-call contract with standard hours.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Washington State Driver's License.
• Experience with NEC and Washington State Electrical Code (RCW 19.28).
• Ability to review electrical plans and perform field inspections.
• Strong communication skills with the public, developers and contractors.
• Background check and cybersecurity awareness training required.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical plan reviews for residential, commercial, and public building projects.
• Review electrical drawings and calculations for NEC and Washington State code compliance.
• Approve or disapprove plans and changes; document decisions.
• Conduct field inspections for service entrances, panelboards, grounding.
• Issue notices of violation and document code violations.
• Communicate with public, developers, contractors, and agencies.
• Monitor status using SmartGov and Bluebeam.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Washington State Journeyman/Master Electrician license

ICC Electrical Inspector certification

Minimum five years of experience as a licensed electrician and/or electrical inspector

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

English written and verbal proficiency
