Job summary

HDR, Inc. in United States (Michigan, Ann Arbor) is seeking an Electrical/I&C Coordinator/EIT to contribute to power-related design analyses and deliverables. You will work with engineers, designers, and BIM specialists, and may be placed in a Design Coordinator role if not yet EIT-certified. This is a full-time, employee-owned environment.

The role emphasizes independent work on small projects and collaboration on larger efforts within HDR's power generation framework.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analyses to develop power-related design options or recommendations, and assist in the preparation of project deliverables (e.g., engineering drawing packages, cost estimates, project specifications).
  • Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures.
  • Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables.
  • Work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers / professionals on larger projects.
  • Work with assistance from Project Engineers, other Engineers In-Training (EITs), Designers, or BIM Specialists as needed.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

In the role of Electrical/I&C Coordinator/EIT, we'll count on you to:

Preferred Qualifications
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
  • Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression
