Job summary

Crowder-Constructors-Inc seeks an Electrical Helper to support our electrical trades on civil construction projects across the Southeast. The role focuses on setting up reel stands, spindles, and conduit work, while maintaining a clean, safe work area and reporting hazards to supervision.

Responsibilities include pulling wire, preparing conductor ends, assisting in trenching, moving parts, splicing wires, and installing wiring and distribution gear.

Qualifications

• Must be able to demonstrate safe work habits in a construction environment.
• Explain the purpose of OSHA and how it promotes safety on the job.
• Explain the National Electrical Code requirements for bending conduit.

Responsibilities

• Pull wire through conduit under supervision.
• Prepare ends of conductors for pulling under supervision.
• Assist in trench excavation and material handling.
• Move machine parts and materials to assist in assembly and repair of gear and equipment.
• Splice wires as needed and connect wiring to fixtures and equipment.
• Assist in conduit installation and installation of power cables.
