Job summary

Crowder Construction Co is seeking an Electrical Helper in Fuquay-Varina, NC. The role involves setting up reel stands, pulling wire, and assisting with conduit installation under supervision. You will maintain a clean work area and report safety concerns to your supervisor.

The position requires knowledge of safe work practices, OSHA rules, and NEC requirements for bending conduit, with opportunities to travel for multi-state projects as needed.

Qualifications

Must demonstrate safe work habits in a construction environment.
Maintain knowledge of and explain OSHA requirements and safety on the job.
Maintain knowledge of and explain the National Electrical Code requirements for bending conduit.

Responsibilities

Pull wire through conduit under supervision.
Prepare ends of conductors for pulling under supervision.
Assist in trench excavation and moving materials.
Help move machine parts and materials for assembly and repair of gear and generators.
May splice wires and connect power cables to equipment.
May install and terminate wiring to lighting fixtures and panels.
May assist in conduit installation and grounding leads.
