Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an Electrical Helper to safely assist Electrical Laborers and Journeymen with material handling, assembling and dismantling equipment, preparing work areas, and cleaning of machines and workspaces.

The role involves reading safety regulations and blueprints, following instructions, and lifting up to 50 lbs with team support. Must have a current driver’s license and be able to work under close supervision.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience preferred
• Current driver’s license
• Ability to read and interpret safety regulations, blueprints and manuals
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work with tools and equipment
• Detail oriented with good communication

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using hand tools
• Safely use hand and power tools after training
• Lift, position, and fasten objects
• Prepare, handle, and supply materials and tools to be used by electrical trades
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment
• Work under supervision according to standard instructions
• Build relations with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
• All other duties as assigned
