Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Power Yard Foreman to assist Electrical Helpers and Journeymen with material handling, equipment setup, and workspace preparation. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and efficient material flow on site.

Responsibilities include measuring and laying out materials, using power and hand tools, and maintaining organized work areas. Candidate must follow instructions and support crew members, with opportunities for growth in a leading role.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety regulations and manuals.
• Ability to handle tools and operate equipment safely.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs with assistance when needed.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using hand tools.
• Safely use drills, crimpers, cutters and other tools after training.
• Lift, position and fasten objects.
• Supply materials and tools to electrical trades as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment.
• Follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Build positive relationships with diverse colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
