Job summary

IES is seeking an Electrical Helper to assist with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair while supporting daily operations and project activities. This on-site role requires basic electrical knowledge, ability to read blueprints, strong communication, and strict adherence to safety standards.

Travel may be required to support projects. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship; high school diploma or GED is preferred, with 0–2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in electrical installation or related field preferred.
• Certifications or licenses preferred where necessary to perform job duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Review project plans and work orders to support project execution.
• Diagnose electrical issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Ensure work complies with safety standards and applicable electrical codes.
• Coordinate with teams and departments regarding project activities and needs.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to electrical work.
