Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Suffolk, Virginia is seeking a full-time Electrical Helper to support licensed electricians with conduit, wiring, and material handling.

You will assist in mounting and installing work, help with wire pulls, and work from ladders while following safety policies. Candidates should have at least 6 months electrical experience, a high school diploma or GED, OSHA 10 or the ability to obtain it, and pass pre-employment background and MVR checks as required

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months electrical experience.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.
• Successfully pass pre-employment background and MVR checks when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assists commercial Electricians by performing various tasks and material handling.
• Properly mounts and installs assigned work conduit, wires, and strapping as directed.
• Assists in wire pulls and other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Works from all types of ladders and complies with safety policies; travel may be required.
