Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Palmdale, CA is seeking an Electrical Harness Engineer to translate system requirements into precise wiring designs and ensure cross‑subsystem integration.

You will develop detailed electrical schematics and power distribution layouts for next‑generation aircraft, collaborate with subsystem engineers, and manage supplier statements of work and checkouts.

Must be a U.S. citizen and capable of obtaining an active Secret/Top Secret clearance to start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience creating electrical schematics or wiring diagrams.
• Experience with Capital Logic, AutoCAD Electrical, or equivalent CAD tool.
• Experience performing Root Cause/Corrective Action troubleshooting
• Hands on engineering experience with aircraft hardware or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Active Secret/Top Secret Clearance per business requirements

Responsibilities

• Translate system requirements into precise electrical harness designs and ensure cross‑subsystem integration.
• Develop detailed wiring schematics and power distribution layouts for next‑generation aircraft.
• Collaborate with subsystem engineers to define loads, routing, and interface requirements; manage supplier SOWs and checkouts.
