Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation in Palmdale, CA is seeking an Aeronautical Engineering Manager to lead teams in harness design for ADP programs, ensuring robust wiring solutions meet aerospace standards.

You will integrate electrical systems across Vehicle, Mission, and Weapons design teams, create wire schematics, and manage highly complex technical projects while coordinating with suppliers and customers to meet program goals.

Qualifications

• Team lead experience required.
• Experience in subsystem design and installation (Airframe Layout, Detail Part and Assembly, Harness Design).
• Experience with CAD tools such as CATIA, NX, SolidWorks, Creo.
• Experience with Harness Design tools such as Siemens Capital or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s or above degree from an accredited engineering program.
• Must be a US Citizen with active secret security clearance; facility requires special access.

Responsibilities

• Support integration of electrical systems from Vehicle, Mission, and Weapons design teams into the aircraft.
• Create wire schematics, diagrams, and harness drawings to document harness configuration.
• Determine scope, estimate, plan, and implement highly complex technical projects.
• Develop problem-solving solutions to keep schedule and budget on track.
• Interface with suppliers and customers to align requirements.
• Lead technical discussions in program meetings to achieve program goals.
