Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Palmdale, CA is seeking an Electrical Harness Engineer - Level 2 to design, prototype and validate electrical harness solutions for aerospace systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to integrate designs into aircraft and document specifications.

Qualified candidates have a bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, experience with wiring diagrams, CAD tools, and troubleshooting. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Experience creating electrical schematics or wiring diagrams.
  • Experience with CAD tools such as Capital Logic or AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Experience performing Root Cause/Corrective Action troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on engineering experience with aircraft hardware or equivalent.

Further Information About This Opportunity

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN -This position is located at a facility that requiresspecial access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secretclearance to start.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Experience creating electrical schematics or wiring diagrams.
  • Experience with Capital Logic, AutoCAD Electrical, or equivalent Electronic Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool.
  • Experience performing Root Cause/Corrective Action troubleshooting
  • Hands on engineering experience with aircraft hardware or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Active Top Secret Clearance per business requirements
Desired Skills
  • Electrical Harness Design and Installation Experience HIGHLY DESIRED
  • Experience working on a small team covering all aspects of system design from concept through testing
  • Engineering experience working power systems or performed electrical load analysis.
  • Knowledge of industry electrical wire harness assembly fabrication and installation methods and processes.
  • Experience with Teamcenter, ENOVIA or equivalent PLM software.
  • Active Top Secret Clearance
  • 2 years of professional experience; or no experience with a related Masters degree
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $79300.00 - $147300.00

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
