Job summary

Boston Scientific in Arden Hills, MN seeks an R&D Electrical Hardware Engineer Intern to contribute to the design and development of implantable medical devices and associated external equipment. You’ll work with cross-functional teams, gain exposure to medical device development, and apply electronics proficiency.

Ideal candidates are rising juniors or seniors pursuing EE or Biomedical/Computer Engineering, with hands-on circuit experience and a passion for solving real patient needs.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical/Computer/Computer Engineering with an EE emphasis.
• Hands-on experience with electronics, circuit analysis, and circuit design in academic or professional settings.
• Ability to work onsite with a team and communicate effectively across functions.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of implantable medical devices that support diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions.
• Contribute to the development of electrical designs for external medical equipment that communicates with implantable devices.
• Support testing and validation of electrical designs.
• Gain exposure to medical device development and cross-functional engineering collaboration.
