Job summary

TECHEAD is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer with around 3 years of hands-on hardware development experience to join our team. You will drive the full hardware lifecycle from concept through PCB layout and lab bring-up, with a focus on multi-layer PCBs and high-speed interfaces.

The ideal candidate will excel in Altium Designer, PCB layout, and following IPC standards, while collaborating with CM partners for fabrication deliverables.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hardware development and PCB design.
• Proficient with Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Experience with lab equipment and SMD soldering (0402/0201).

Responsibilities

• Design and layout multi-layer PCBs with SI/PI and EMC/EMI best practices.
• Select components and create libraries per IPC standards.
• Prototype board bring-up and lab validation using test equipment.
• Coordinate with PCB fabricators and contract manufacturers to produce Gerbers, BOMs, IPC-2581, drawings.
• Develop high-speed interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet, CAN) and power circuits.
