Job summary

Badger Meter is seeking an Engineer II, Electrical to support hardware development and product performance testing. You will contribute to new product development and sustain existing products in production, working with engineering leaders in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

The role requires a BS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, 3+ years of related experience, and hands-on PCB/embedded design with testing and documentation expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• End-to-end electronics development with PCB hardware design.
• Experience in analog and digital circuit design.
• Proficiency with embedded MCUs (8/16/32-bit) and related tooling.
• Experience using test instruments and debugging embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Design hardware PCB portions and support components.
• Perform product verification tests to standards (UL/CSA, CE EMC, FM).
• Finalize production test methods and documentation.
• Create work instructions and engineering change requests.
• Provide hardware support to sustaining engineering teams.
• Collaborate in multi-disciplinary project teams on schedules, budgets, risks.
