Job summary

Qualifications

• BS degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years hardware development or hands-on engineering experience in aerospace/space contexts.
• Experience with test equipment, DAQ systems, and environmental chambers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage requirements, preventive maintenance, calibrations, and upgrades for test equipment, tooling, DAQ systems, and environmental chambers.
• Identify and document critical process mechanisms to improve lab safety, manufacturing efficiency, and build quality.
• Conduct project planning, cost analysis, and vendor evaluations; coordinate subcontractor scheduling and infrastructure projects.
• Architect and assemble test racks with PXIe chassis, programmable power supplies, and switching matrices.
• Design and build custom test fixtures and Automated Test Equipment for PCBA and system validation.
• Characterize performance using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators to resolve hardware issues.
