Job summary

True Anomaly is seeking an Engineering Manager for eGSE in Long Beach to lead the design, development, and delivery of electrical ground support equipment across programs. You will define technical standards, own rack/enclosure systems from concept to first article, and mentor a growing team of engineers and technicians.

You'll drive signal integrity, power architecture, and documentation, collaborating with hardware and software engineers to ensure robust test infrastructure and maintain

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering or comparable discipline.
• Hands-on EGSE/hardware engineering experience in aerospace/defense or related industries.
• Experience designing and building harnesses with crimping, inspection, backshell and shielding.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design and delivery of EGSE racks and test enclosures—mechanical layout, schematics, harness design, drawings from requirements to first article.
• Lead harness design and fabrication to MIL-spec standards, including connector selection, shielding, and backshell installation.
• Establish and enforce rack standardization across programs to maximize build speed and minimize single-point-of-failure dependencies.
• Drive signal integrity and power architecture decisions at rack/enclosure level including routing, grounding, EMI mitigation.
• Develop hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test system architecture and expansion across emulator and flight hardware configurations.
• Provide hands-on technical support during test campaigns and on-site production/test facilities.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and technicians, acting as technical backstop.
• Maintain thorough documentation for all GSE designs and changes to ensure traceability.
