Job summary

Panasonic Avionics Corporation in Irvine, CA is seeking a Hardware Engineer I - Avionics to design and develop Ground Support Equipment and test equipment for In-Flight Entertainment LRUs. You will perform circuit design, layout, requirements analysis, prototype development, testing, troubleshooting, and qualification, collaborating with Product Engineering to support GSE and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• BS, BSEE, MSEE or related engineering degree. Graduate coursework is desirable.
• 1-3 years’ experience in higher mathematics, electronics, mechanics and circuit design.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develop test equipment and test specifications for In Flight Entertainment (IFE) Line Replaceable Units (LRU).
• Design & development including layout, analysis, evaluation, prototype build and electromechanical components and systems.
• Performs qualitative and quantitative tests to determine properties, characteristics, and performance of materials, circuits, mechanisms, assemblies and Test Units.
• Record and analyze test data. Select hardware and material assuring compliance with specifications and product requirements.
